Privacy Policy

This is a personal photography website run by me, Chuck Adams. Here’s what happens to your information when you visit or get in touch.
What I collect
If you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address, subject and message you type in. That’s all of it. The form sends your message to my email inbox — it isn’t stored in a database on this website. If you email or phone me directly, I have whatever you choose to send me.
I don’t run Google Analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels here. When you browse the galleries, I don’t know who you are.
What I do with it
I use your message to reply to you. That’s the whole purpose. I don’t sell, rent or share your information with anyone apart from the spam check described below, and I won’t add you to a mailing list.
How long I keep it
Your message sits in my email until I clear it out, the same as any other email I receive. If you’d rather I delete it sooner, just ask.
Cookies and technical details
The site uses caching software so pages load quickly, which may set a basic technical cookie. My web host keeps routine server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting — every web host does this. The links to my 500px and Flickr profiles take you to those sites, which have their own privacy policies.
Your choices
If you want to know what I have, or want it deleted, email me at charadm77@gmail.com and I’ll take care of it.
The contact form on this site is checked by Akismet, a spam-filtering service operated by Automattic Inc. When you submit the form, the information you enter — along with your IP address — is sent to Akismet to determine whether the message is spam. Akismet does not place cookies on this site or track your browsing. More information is available in Automattic’s privacy policy at automattic.com/privacy.
